The original design
Tablet was becoming more established, and was to star in multiple video games. An original design was needed.
Tablet was to star in multiple video games - and to do so he needed to graduate from his Mii-like appearance, to something original.

It was here that we discovered his moustache and eyebrows were actually glowing, and not simply blonde. He could light up the night with just his moustache and eyebrows.
