Origins of the name

Tablet's name originated from a silly message to the support address of an old music streaming service. It was around this time that we started seeing email signatures that ended with "Sent from my iPhone". As I was emailing from my tablet, I found it surprisingly amusing to simply end with "- tablet".

After that, I started using Tablet as my character name in the occasional (offline) video game.
